GenScript Rabbit Anti-GAD65+GAD67 Polyclonal Antibody should be stored lyophilized until use. It remains stable in lyophilized form for at least two years if stored at -20°C or below. The reconstituted antibody can be stored for two to three weeks at 2-8°C or for up to 12 months at -20°C or below. Avoid repeated freeze and thaw cycles.

Specificity

GenScript Rabbit Anti-GAD65+GAD67 Polyclonal Antibody detects endogenous levels of mouse and rat GAD65 and GAD67 protein. This antibody reacts specifically with GAD65 and GAD67 isoforms. It is predicted to react with human GAD65 and GAD67 according to sequence homology.
Positive Control: Mouse brain and rat brain

Concentration

0.5 mg/ml, lyophilized with PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide

Immunogen

KLH-coupled synthetic peptide within residues 550-600 of human GAD65 （Swiss Prot: Q05329） and GAD67 （Swiss Prot: Q99259）.

Applications

Working concentrations for specific applications should be determined by the investigator. The appropriate concentrations may be affected by secondary antibody affinity, antigen concentration, the sensitivity of the method of detection, temperature, the length of the incubations, and other factors. The suitability of this antibody for applications other than those listed below has not been determined. The following concentration ranges are recommended starting points for this product.
