PN-ST500F is a kind of muti-function stiffness tester, suitable for measuring the bending stiffness of paper, cardboard and other non-metallic materials with a thickness of less than 2mm.Stiffness is the force or moment required to bend a specimen of a specified size to a certain angle, and it is an indicator of the strength performance of paper and cardboard bending.
In packaging, the proper higher bending stiffness makes the paperboard have a certain stiffness and strength, and the procductw will be with high stiffness, beautiful appearance and flatness; but if the stiffness is too large, it will be difficult to form and increase cost. Stiffness is related to the thickness and quantity of cardboard. All stiffness can be controlled within a certain range, which can meet customer requirements and save costs.
The test angle of the instrument can be arbitrarily set between (1 ～ 90) °, and the test time can be arbitrarily set within the specified range (3s ～ 30s). Equipped with automatic zero test function, it is the first full-automatic stiffness tester in China that uses a color touch screen as a display. It displays stiffness and time curve in real time. This instrument has the functions of parameter testing, display, memory, statistics, and printing included in the standard, and provides scientific data analysis for cardboard stiffness detection.
