在安裝了由艾默生CT分銷商PS Logatec提供的1MW風機驅動器和電機后，斯洛文尼亞的水泥生產商產量得到了保證。

該項目由Hidroin_eniring d.o.o. of Ljubljana實施，旨在提升水泥回轉窯中提供熱風的大型風機的可靠性。一個至關重要的控制特性就是避免四米的巨大風機在共振頻率下運行，在此頻率下運行會引起震動累積從而損壞風機。

該安裝相關的所有設備都是巨型設備。風機電機重量超過6噸，主軸直徑為140mm，連接至電機的四條電纜都有三根直徑為240mm，690V系統上的電流超過1000A！毫無疑問，該項目所配備的驅動器也同樣是大型的—1個Unidrive SP模塊化驅動器配備一個主機和八個從模塊，它們一起構成了總共1MW的要求。主機控制單元加裝了一個與SCADA控制系統直接通信的SM ProfibusDP模塊，以及一個遠程監控和訪問的SM以太網模塊。

?所選的關鍵電機是一個690V LEROY-SOMER FSA三相異步交流電機，該電機專為zui惡劣運行環境的長使用壽命設計，包括水泥回轉窯周圍的運行條件。

由PS Logatec公司負責驅動固定和安裝，安裝在水泥廠的一個空調工作間中。

風機上的傳感器檢測的震動信號反饋至SCADA系統。在運行過程中，系統確保風機電機加速和減速時快速通過臨界頻率。電機軸上還安裝了一個通過電氣耦合與主電機分離的小電機，可在非工作時減慢風機速度，避免熱損傷回轉窯。

由于Unidrive SP為模塊化設計，客戶運行時*安全，即使一個模塊發生故障，驅動器仍具有降額運行的能力。

艾默生CT的Unidrive SPM系列提供了是一個多功能的高性價比方案，滿足了大功率的驅動要求。簡便的安裝、多種運行模式（多脈沖、前端有源輸入或公共DC母線配置均可選擇）可選，減少了能耗成本。該模塊化系列提供12、18或24脈沖配置清潔電網，是理想的內置動態負載制動控制器或再生回饋控制產品，能量可通過制動電機間內的公共直流母線共享，進一步降低了成本。
