電子測痛儀也叫做電子觸覺測試儀，用于對大鼠、小鼠足部進行輕觸，來測量老鼠的機械痛閾值或觸覺閾值。
老鼠感覺到爪子被刺激時，會做出縮足反應。電子觸覺測試儀使用測試探針對老鼠足底進行觸覺刺激，力度由小到大逐漸增加力度，通過判斷老鼠的縮足反應，來采集和分析老鼠的觸覺閾值。
纖毛機械刺激絲套裝。但是纖毛機械刺激絲的方法非常耗時耗力，一個測試實驗需要使用多個不同纖維絲進行多次和反復足底刺激。

電子觸覺測試儀可用來替代傳統的 Semmes-Weinstein（Von Frey Hairs）纖毛機械刺激針，可直接測得動物的機械痛閾和觸覺閾測量，不需要進行反復的測試和繁雜的計算。設備輕巧易用，測量精確。
電子觸覺測試儀相比傳統方法的優勢特點
· 電子觸覺測試儀，一個測試實驗只需要進行一次足底刺激即可得到準確的結果；
· 數據可直接用于統計分析，能夠節省很多的精力和時間；

Electric Von Frey電子測痛儀的主要參數

大鼠小鼠足底觸覺測試籠
大小鼠足底測試平臺，也叫做老鼠足底觸覺測試鑿孔臺，主要用于配合Von Frey電子測痛儀，對大鼠、小鼠進行足底觸覺測試。
足底測試平臺由三部分組成鑿孔臺、測試鼠籠和45°鏡面（額外選配）
Supertips測試軟絲
Supertips采用技術，有15根測試軟絲組成。所有15根測試絲的直徑的都在0.8mm，受測的接觸面積具有高度的均一性。配合電子測痛儀使用，用于觸覺閾值（Sensory Threshold）的測量。
Supertips測試絲采用特殊PP材質，受溫度、濕度影響小，也有利于減少實驗誤差。
測試結果準確性高，可以直接用于評估痛閾，而不需復雜的計算。
